Movember raises £700 for Foodshare
Richard, Rupert, Sean, David and Hawar did us proud in Movember.
Members of Carillion's Design and Integration team grew facial topiary during Movember in support of our chosen local charity, Maidenhead Foodshare. It's a fantastic charity that plays an important role in providing much needed food and supplies for local families, young and old.
All 5 members of the team persevered, despite the ridicule and raised a fantastic £700! We are delighted to be able to support this charity to put food on the table for those less fortunate, so thanks to everyone who contributed.
Big thanks to Sean, Hawar, Rupert, David & Richard
This year we have selected Foodshare in Maidenhead as our supported charity. Foodshare helps hundreds of people every week, in and around Maidenhead, who are unable to feed themselves and their families properly. Foodshare provides free meals at its food bank, at the homeless shelter and young persons’ hostel, to the street homeless, and it provisions school breakfast clubs so that children do not start the school day hungry. One of Foodshare’s goals for this year is to fund a small facility with modest cooking equipment to teach more people how to cook nutritious food on a tight budget. Find out more about Foodshare

National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society
The National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society is ‘the voice’ of people affected by Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) across the whole of the UK and in due course, they hope to be so for Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA). Founded in 2001, they are the only UK charity devoted specifically to RA.
